St. Petersburg is an ideal base from which to explore Russia and Europe. Air travel is very convenient and the capitals of Europe are within three or four hours’ flying time from St. Petersburg airport. Over the years the University has acquired considerable experience in anticipating, understanding and catering for the needs of students from overseas. The University has built up a wide range of expertise and special services. The Russian Language Unit aims to help international students to learn and improve their Russian and study skills both before the start of the academic session and during full-time study at the University.
